Completing our immersion program in business strategy, international business development, or policy and regulatory design provides learners with essential transferable skills valuable to different sectors.

Projects target opportunities or challenges for growth organisations, with solutions that involve innovative practices, for example, data, digital and globalisation strategies.

Immersion Components

Our global professional immersions consists of 3 components:

1. Skills immersion – a series of masterclasses in meta / power / professional skills – mindsets, practices and technologies – relevant to agreed GPI objectives and project deliverables.

Examples of skills are:

  • Meta skills – taking different perspectives, identifying pain points, effective story-telling, connecting dots to see the whole picture
  • Power skills – critical problem solving, communicating with influence, effective teamwork, leading in a time of change, intercultural fluency
  • Professional skills – planning and managing projects, conducting consultations, using digital tools, creating professional presence.

These skills are critical to both organisations and individuals since they make technical skills valuable and are relevant and transferable to all activities – they drive business growth (organisations) and career growth (individuals).

2. Project immersion – where the team applies and demonstrates the mindsets, practices and technologies learned in the skills immersion on achieving agreed deliverables in a real, meaningful project for the organisation.

Projects typically focus on growth opportunities and challenges with business strategy, international business development, or policy and regulatory design.

3. Knowledge acceleration – various business leaders masterclasses and technical seminars to accelerate knowledge on specific topics relevant to business and career growth.

Assessment & Certification

Our program options include videos, cases, journals, polls and quizzes. A project immersion includes weekly class meetings with your guru for guidance and coaching.

For all program options, you receive a Certificate of Achievement where you score a ‘pass’ in each category of assessment. For global professional immersions, you will also receive a Letter of Commendation where you achieve high performance in all assessment categories including the project immersion.

Universities may recognise program completion for course credit (learners approach universities to arrange this).

Investment

Our global professional immersion options are professional development and support programs focused at growing careers and organisations.

All program options are fully coached, supervised and administered by Guru Advantage.

The Global Careers Masterclass ranges from AUD 750 per learner.

The Global Professional Immersions range from AUD 2,000 per team member, depending on requirements, complexity, duration of immersion components, and composition of immersion team.

Programs can be customised to suit your needs.
